At last a fitting concept that you have been waiting for. Using a commercial pattern and actual garments you will be personally fitted for a top and skirt. Learn to read the signs of a bad fit and how to correct it. At the end of this two-day workshop you will leave with a manual, commercial pattern and a toile that fits.

 

 

SPEED TAILORING Working with woven fusible interlinings. Create professional looking collar and lapels. Set in sleeves with ease. What is a plastron, a sleeve wrap, lock stitch? All will be revealed on this course. You will make a sample half jacket using the latest techniques.

TROUSER CONSTRUCTION Techniques for making trousers that fit, including the correct way to measure, pattern adaptation and construction methods. You will make a pair of trousers. Follow on to trouser fit day. Bring your toile, pattern, fabric and zip.
