Jeans Day It's hard to find the perfect jeans. Starting with the correct fit makes it simple. We will use a commercial pattern and adjust this to get the perfect Jean for you. Pockets, yokes, belt carriers, leg shape, stretch or not to stretch, you choose your style. All the techniques you need to know to achieve the perfect look. Requirements: pattern, fabric, zip, studs. Calico toile needs to be prepared in advance, take waist and hip measurements, make to the nearest size. Alterations will be done in class

Love the pretty dresses you see in the shops but want something unique. Can’t find clothes for boys? Want to make something as a present for the little darlings. Then this is the course for you. I’ll show you pintucking, smocking, appliqué and easy ways with yokes.

PATTERN ADAPTION Want to make that outfit you saw on the catwalk? Can’t find a pattern? Learn how to turn your existing patterns into the latest fashions. We will cover dart manipulation, redrawing seams, lengthening and shortening, completely changing the shape of the garment, to update your look.  Drafting a pattern from an existing garment.
